Court
Queens
The Queen of any
suit represents the aspects of feminine character associated with
that suit. When the cards are dealt upright those aspects are
present and affecting the reading. If the cards are dealt reversed then
those aspects are lacking and the 'lack of ' is affecting the reading.
Note: Every woman will have character aspects from all the Queens in
varying portions. Both strengths and weaknesses will be indicated
accordingly. Even a man can have some feminine character aspects show
up in his readings, A Queen that may be referring to himself and not
necessarily to a female person in his life.
When a Queen appears in
a spread look first to the individual you are doing the reading for to see if it
might be an aspect of their character (or the lack of) that is affecting the
reading. If not, then look at the people around the individual: a mother,
significant other, or close friend. Remember a Queen
will not sum up any one personality. Women are a combination of all.
It will point out character aspects (or lack of) that concern the particular
reading they show up in. Consequently, the same person may show up as a
different Queen in a different spread.
Whenever a Queen shows
upright in a spread she points out by the suit she is in the positive aspects
she is bringing to the individual's life concerning the subject of the
reading. If a Queen shows reversed in a spread she points out the need for
those positive aspects (or lack of.) If the reversed Queen is referring to
the individual the reading is being done for, she points out a weakness of
character that is affecting the subject of the reading. It may be
something that needs to be worked on or developed. If the reversed Queen
is referring to someone in the individual's life she may be pointing out
problems caused by the other person's lack of that aspect of character.
