Question 1:
I love the thought of manifesting. It seems a little overwhelming though. I have
all these thoughts that come into my mind. Though I want to be in control, I
don't feel in control. I'm worried about how long it will take me to learn how to
manifest and do it well. Are the negative thoughts that still seem to pop up at
times interfering with or undoing my being able to create what I want in life?
Answer 1:
Over time the manifesting comes easier and faster because we are able to
block other thoughts. In the beginning, though we try to only have positive
creative thoughts, there are so many thoughts that come rushing into our
minds. These thoughts that come rushing in do not in themselves manifest
unless we are thinking them again and again. Two things come to mind.
1. Creation is not instantaneous. We have time to rethink before things
actually manifest. In addition I believe that there must be an element of passion
involved in our creating. Makes me think of when the children were little. I
could always tell what they wanted for their birthdays and Christmas because
they would say it over and over again. Some things they might see on a TV
advertisement and mention it once but not repeatedly. What they really wanted
they would talk about over and over. We are all the same way. Negative
thoughts that pop up now and again will not undo what you are creating.
Negative thoughts that are there all the time (some times just under the surface
of our thinking) can.
2. Our brains are like computers. The more programs we have running at any
one time the slower the programs will run. The idea is to make it a habit to
think creatively and positively. Over time we will focus and automatically think
creatively and positively in every area of our lives.

Question 2:
I've attended one of your workshops and heard you talk about this. Would you
share with your readers how you manage your creative prayers, the daily
routine you follow.
Answer 2:
I keep a little prayer journal with two sections in it. The first section I use to list
the things I want to create in my life. The second section I use to list all the
things I'm grateful for in life. I like the composition books with lines in it but
spiral notebooks work just as well. Over the years I have accumulated many
volumes.
Each day I start out in a creative mode. I use my journal and read what I have
written in the first section. If I think of something else I want to manifest I add it
to my list of things to create. Things that have already manifested I draw a line
through. Then I pray for each of the items still open on my list.
In the evenings before going to bed I again visit my journal this time reading the
list in the second section. Each evening I have much to be grateful for that I
add to my list. Things I feel have been covered adequately I draw a line
through. To me being appreciative and grateful of the things that have already
manifested add to my power to create. What goes around, comes around.
