Blessing of Little Children
Special Blessings
Of all the beautiful things we do, nothing enriches us more or
touches our hearts like performing Blessing of Little Children
ceremonies. Also known as baptisms and christenings, these loving
ceremonies are a warm, joyous welcoming which celebrate the
miraculous arrival of your precious gift and asks a special blessing
and guardian angel to protect and watch over them.
You can have the Baby Blessing Ceremony at whatever location
feels right to you. A delightful Baby Blessing Ceremony in your home
surrounded by family and friends can be a wonderful, moving
experience. We have also performed these ceremonies in chapels,
gardens, hotels, catering halls, and more.
These beautiful ceremonies can be done for most children up to age
five. The sooner in their lives the better but better late than never.
If you have questions or need information and pricing for your Baby
Blessing Ceremony, please contact us via e-mail, or phone us today

Baby Naming, Baptisms and Christenings
"New life comes to us as a gift...May we be worthy of the gift and glad
receivers of the blessing." - - George Kimmich Beach
For a family, there is no greater joy in life than a new child in its midst.
A new child re-awakens within us reverence for all life. A new child reminds us
of the continuity from one generation to the next. A new child represents hope
for the future. A new child reminds us that the ultimate purpose of our lives is
about something larger than ourselves.
For a family, there is also no greater privilege or responsibility than that of
loving, caring for, and nurturing a child so that the child may fulfill the promise
of his or her life.
Many families desire to have a ceremony that celebrates the birth or adoption
of a child and also recognizes the responsibility of parents, siblings, other
family members, and close friends to the child.
Baby Namings are meaningful events with no religious connotation, which
some parents may wish to hold, in order that they can make promises as to
how the child will be brought up. These events would be witnessed by their
family and friends.
Unlike baptisms/christenings, the supporting family members or friends would
not be known as 'godparents', since this phrase is usually connected to a
religious ceremony. Other options could be; sponsor, mentor, supporter.
Guardian would perhaps not be used since it has a 'legal' connotation.
Naming ceremonies may be used as a way to -
- announce the names that have been chosen for the child, and possibly
give reasons for their choice,
- make promises of commitment to support and nurture the child into
adult life,
- choose other adults who are prepared to offer a special supportive role
in the upbringing of the child,
- and perhaps, consider that children are the society's hope for the
future.
